What Happens to My Money If I Get Zero or Partial US e-IPO Allocation, and Can I Still Buy on the Secondary Market?

If you receive zero or partial allocation, the full or unused reserved amount is automatically returned to your USD Cash — no action needed on your part. If you still want exposure to the stock, once it's publicly tradable after listing you can buy it directly from that stock's Asset Detail Page (ADP), just like any other US Stock.

  • Zero allocation: Your entire reserved order amount is returned to your USD Cash automatically as soon as the allocation result is confirmed.
  • Partial allocation (scale back): Only the unused portion of your reserved amount is returned; the rest is used for the shares you were allotted.
  • Buying on the secondary market: There's no dedicated IPO button for this — once the stock starts trading publicly after listing, go to that stock's Asset Detail Page in US Stocks and buy it through the regular buy flow, the same way you'd buy any other US Stock.
  • No separate IPO order needed: Buying from the Asset Detail Page is a standard market purchase, not a new IPO order — it uses the regular US Stocks transaction flow and fees.
