How Many Pockets Can I Own?

For now, each Pluang user can use a maximum of 25 Pockets in total, combining both pre-built Pockets and self-built Pocket Slots across Crypto and US Stocks. This limit is cumulative rather than based only on what's currently showing in your portfolio: if you previously invested in a Pocket and have since sold all of its assets so it no longer appears as an active holding, that Pocket still counts toward your 25-Pocket total. In practice, this means the 25 slots represent every Pocket you've ever used, not just the ones you currently hold. If you're approaching this limit and want to start a new Pocket, you'll need to think about whether an existing Pocket still serves your strategy, since a fully-sold Pocket cannot be "freed up" or removed from the count. This cap applies per user, not per asset class, so a mix of Crypto and US Stock Pockets both draw from the same shared limit.

  • The cap is 25 Pockets total per user, combining pre-built and self-built types.
  • The count is cumulative, not a snapshot of your current portfolio — every Pocket you've ever invested in counts, even fully-sold ones.
  • Crypto and US Stock Pockets share the same limit — there's no separate quota for each asset class.
  • Selling out of a Pocket does not free up a slot in the count, since the limit tracks Pockets used, not Pockets currently held.

Related questions:

Q: If I sell all assets in a Pocket, does it stop counting toward my limit?
No, a fully-sold Pocket still counts toward your 25-Pocket total. The limit is cumulative based on every Pocket you've used, not just the ones currently active in your portfolio, so selling out of one doesn't reduce your count.

Q: Is the 25-Pocket limit separate for Crypto and US Stocks?
No, the limit is shared across both asset classes. Whether you build Pockets from Crypto, US Stocks, or a mix of both, they all draw from the same combined maximum of 25.

Q: What happens if I try to create a new Pocket after reaching 25?
If you're at your Pocket limit, the app will let you know you can't start a new one until you're back within your allowance. Check your Portfolio and Transaction History to review your existing and past Pockets.

Q: Does this 25-Pocket limit ever change?
The limit reflects the current product rules "for now," meaning Pluang could adjust it in the future, though no change has been announced. Always check the latest in-app messaging if you're near the cap.
