Why Haven't I Received My Mutual Fund Dividend?
A mutual fund dividend not received in your bank account or balance is normal on Pluang: dividends are paid as additional units of the same fund, not as cash, so check the fund's Transaction History first, where they appear as a "Buy" transaction no later than one day after the payment date (H+1). If there is no such entry, check the causes below.
| Symptom / Condition | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| You checked your bank account or balance and found no dividend | Mutual fund dividends on Pluang are paid as additional units of the same fund, added to your holding, not as cash | Open the mutual fund you own in the Pluang app and tap the "Transaction History" toggle at the top right. Look for a "Buy" transaction you did not place yourself, usually for an amount smaller than the fund's minimum purchase. That is your dividend |
| It is the payment date and the dividend has not appeared yet | On the payment date, the fund's custodian bank distributes the dividend to S-Invest, the mutual fund administration system run by KSEI, and the units are added to your holding no later than one day later (H+1) | Check the fund's Transaction History again one day after the payment date |
| The expected date has passed, and one of the dividend dates fell on an exchange holiday | If the cum date, ex-date or payment date falls on an exchange holiday, it moves to the next exchange day, and the H+1 timing moves with it | Count one day from the shifted payment date, then check the fund's Transaction History again |
| You sold all your units before the cum date, or bought your units on the ex-date or later | Only investors who still hold units up to the cum date are entitled to the dividend. The ex-date is the day after the cum date, and investors who buy on the ex-date are not entitled to that distribution | No dividend is due for this distribution. If you still hold units on the next distribution's cum date, you are entitled to that one. If you bought close to the cum date, note that a purchase completed after 13:00 WIB is processed on the next exchange day |
| The fund you hold is not one of the dividend-paying funds | Not every mutual fund pays dividends. As of September 2026, 10 mutual funds on Pluang do | Check whether your fund is on the list of dividend-paying funds (see the mini Q&A below). For a fund that does not pay dividends, your return comes only from changes in its NAB, which can rise or fall |
| Your fund has paid a dividend before, but none arrived this time, or it was smaller than before | Whether a fund distributes a dividend, and how much, is decided by the fund's investment manager based on the fund's performance and policies. Dividends are not guaranteed, and a fund's frequency is its distribution schedule, not a promise of payment | Pluang does not set or adjust dividends, so there is nothing to change in the app. If you are unsure whether the fund made a distribution this time, contact Pluang Care |
If the issue persists:
If more than one day has passed since the payment date (allowing for any holiday shift), you held units of a dividend-paying fund up to its cum date, and there is still no dividend "Buy" entry in the fund's Transaction History, contact Pluang Care via live chat in the app, email tanya@pluang.com, or call (021) 8063 0065 (Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 WIB). Include the fund name, your registered email and a screenshot of the fund's Transaction History.
