What Are Technical Signals on Pluang, and How Do I Read One?
Technical Signals on Pluang are automated alerts that spot chart patterns and key price levels on crypto and US stocks, each showing an entry price, target price, stop loss, probability and target period. You find them in Smart Picks, on the Crypto and US Stocks tabs. They come from a third-party technical-analysis provider, not Pluang's research team, and they are information to support your own decision, not a recommendation.
What each part of a Technical Signal means
| Field | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Pattern type | The chart pattern or key price level that was detected, such as a flag, wedge, channel or head and shoulders. Tap it to see a description and an example image |
| Bullish or bearish | Whether the pattern points to the price rising or falling |
| Entry price | The price level the signal starts from |
| Target price | The price the pattern points to if it plays out |
| Stop loss | The level at which the pattern is considered broken; a common place to limit a loss |
| Probability | The provider's estimate of how likely the target is to be reached, based on how similar patterns behaved before. It is not a promise |
| Target period | The time window in which the target is expected to be reached |
In the app you can tap any of these labels to read its explanation.
How to use a signal in the app
Signals are listed with the newest on top, and you can switch between Crypto and US Stocks. Tap a card to open the signal's detail page with its chart. From there, View Asset opens the asset page so you can check more information first, and Buy opens the order page. Check the price, amount, target and stop loss on the order page before you confirm, because the order is yours to set.
A signal is removed automatically once it expires, so you only see active signals. Technical Signals cover crypto and US stocks only, not Indonesian stocks.
Chart patterns describe how prices moved in the past. Prices can move against any pattern, and past performance does not guarantee future results.

Related questions:
Q: Who creates Technical Signals?
They are generated automatically by a third-party technical-analysis provider that scans price charts for patterns. Pluang's research team does not write them; that team writes Expert Signals, a separate feature.
Q: Does a high probability mean the trade will work?
No. Probability is an estimate based on how similar patterns behaved before. The price can still miss the target or fall through the stop loss.
Q: Do I need to be a Pluang+ member to see Technical Signals?
No. Technical Signals in Smart Picks are not limited to Pluang+ members.
Q: What happens when a signal expires?
It disappears from the list once its period ends. Any order you placed is separate from the signal and stays exactly as you set it until it fills, expires or you cancel it.
