How to Open an RDN (Investor Fund Account) on Pluang

You can open an RDN (Rekening Dana Nasabah, or investor fund account) on Pluang in about 3–5 minutes as part of Indonesian Asset Verification, by choosing Bank Jago or BCA as your RDN bank. The RDN is opened in your own name through Pluang's Indonesian stock partners, PT Pluang Maju Sekuritas and PT Sarana Santosa Sejati, both licensed and supervised by OJK, so you don't need to register with the bank separately. Review usually takes 1–2 business days. For an overview of Indonesian stocks, see Indonesian Stocks on Pluang, and for the Bank Jago route in more detail, see the Pluang Akademi guide Cara Membuka RDN Bank Jago di Pluang (in Indonesian).

Q: How long does it take to open an RDN on Pluang?
Filling in the application takes about 3–5 minutes. After you submit it, your Indonesian Asset Verification, including your RDN, is usually reviewed within 1–2 business days, and Pluang lets you know once it's done.

No. Opening an RDN is free, and you don't need to deposit anything to open it. Its balance starts at Rp0, and you top it up by bank transfer when you're ready to buy stocks.

Not by yourself in the app. Each Pluang account holds one RDN, and its bank stays as it was set up. If you want to move to the other partner bank, contact Pluang Care through in-app live chat or email tanya@pluang.com.

Q: Whose name is my RDN in?
Your own. The RDN is registered in your name and held separately from Pluang's own funds, and the cash in it is protected by LPS up to Rp2,000,000,000 per customer per bank. The stocks you buy are held at KSEI.

Before you start, make sure:

  • You're an Indonesian citizen (WNI) aged 18 or over. Foreign nationals (WNA) can't open an RDN or trade Indonesian stocks on Pluang at the moment.
  • Your Basic Verification is approved.
  • You have an active bank account in your own name. The name on it must match the name on your Pluang account exactly.
  • For a BCA RDN, you have a BCA account in your own name, and you can sign exactly as on your e-KTP, not a shortened version of your signature.
  • For a Bank Jago RDN, you don't need a Jago account beforehand. If you already have one, the app asks you to verify it.
  • If your registered occupation is student, university student or homemaker, you know that Bank Jago is your only RDN option and you have your latest Family Card (Kartu Keluarga) ready.
  • You choose your RDN bank carefully, because you can't switch it yourself later. As of October 2026, idle cash in a Bank Jago RDN earns 2% a year and a BCA RDN earns 0%, and cashing out to the same bank as your RDN is free.

6 Steps

From the Pluang home screen, tap Explore, open the ID tab and tap any Indonesian stock. If your verification isn't complete, the stock page shows a prompt to complete it: tap it. You can also go to Account → Identity Verification → Indonesian Asset Verification.

On the Identity Verification page, tap Indonesian Asset Verification to start the process that opens your RDN.

Enter the information the app asks for, such as your personal data, which must match your e-KTP, your investor profile and your bank account in your own name. If your occupation is student, university student or homemaker, provide your latest Family Card too.

Select RDN Jago or RDN Bank Central Asia (BCA), then tap Continue. The page only shows the banks available to you.

For Bank Jago, read and agree to the RDN terms and conditions; if you already have a Jago account, verify it when asked. For BCA, review and agree to the BCA RDN documents, sign exactly as on your e-KTP, and enter the number of your BCA account in your own name. Then submit your application.

The app confirms that your data has been submitted. Review usually takes 1–2 business days, and Pluang notifies you once it's done. Your RDN is then active, and its account number is shown under Home → Wallet → RDN Account. The balance starts at Rp0: top it up by bank transfer to start buying Indonesian stocks.
