World Liberty Financial launches WLFI token buyback to boost governance and long-term holding.

World Liberty Financial has announced a plan to start buying back its WLFI tokens using initial funding. The buyback program aims to encourage more participation in governance and increase the voting power of long-term token holders. Funding for the buybacks may come from fee income generated by USD1 reserves and other sources. The company sees these buybacks as part of a long-term strategy, with future buyback amounts and timing to be adjusted based on ecosystem growth and governance impact. No specific buyback amount or schedule has been disclosed yet.
