Unity posts first GAAP profit since IPO, shares jump 13% on AI ad engine growth.

Unity Software reported its first GAAP quarterly profit since its 2020 IPO, with Q3 2026 net income of $122 million, reversing a $127 million loss a year earlier. Revenue rose 32% to $622 million, driven by strong growth in its AI-powered Vector ad platform, which grew 126% year-over-year. Unity's CEO highlighted the success of their flywheel strategy linking game development and advertising demand. However, the company faces a challenging Q4 forecast and competition from rivals like AppLovin, which also posted strong gains. Unity plans to pay off convertible notes soon and will be closely watched for the sustainability of Vector's growth amid market uncertainties.

Unity Software shares are up 9.14% at USD 46.34 on Pluang as of Nov 05, 2026 22:13 WIB, reflecting strong investor interest following its first GAAP profit since IPO. AppLovin's stock surged 32.48% to USD 360.02, outperforming Unity and highlighting its market momentum. Take-Two Interactive also gained 1.73%, trading at USD 212.52, showing more modest but positive movement in the gaming sector on Pluang.
