Tiziana Life Sciences has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah International Medical Research Center and the Foundation for Neurologic Diseases to study a combination therapy for multiple sclerosis (MS). The trial will focus on relapsing-remitting MS patients who respond poorly to anti-CD20 therapy alone, using Tiziana's intranasal foralumab, which has shown promise in reducing neuroinflammation. This collaboration expands Tiziana's MS research beyond its ongoing secondary progressive MS program, with Phase 2 trial results expected in October. The announcement boosted Tiziana's shares by over 18%.
