With iOS 27, Spotify users on iPhone 15 Pro or later can now ask Siri to play music directly without needing to say 'on Spotify.' Siri automatically recognizes Spotify as the preferred music app if used consistently, enabling hands-free control for tracks, podcasts, playlists, and personalized recommendations. This update aims to make voice commands more natural and seamless for Spotify listeners. The feature is available globally outside the EU when Apple Intelligence is enabled in settings.
