Silicon Labs launches BG2B, a low-power, secure Bluetooth 6 SoC for advanced IoT devices with longer battery life.

Silicon Labs introduced the BG2B, a new Bluetooth 6 low energy SoC designed for smaller, more secure, and longer-lasting IoT devices. The BG2B offers the industry's lowest power consumption with advanced features like Channel Sounding for location awareness, Secure Vault™ for high security, and integrated peripherals including CAN-FD and LED drivers. This SoC targets applications such as asset tracking, smart home, industrial monitoring, and vehicle diagnostics, enabling developers to extend battery life while supporting sophisticated Bluetooth LE functions. Available now via early access, full production is expected in 2027.
