$22M stolen Solana tokens traced to HitBTC's hot wallet, highlighting its role in laundering crypto thefts.

Security firm Salus traced about 3,600 stolen Solana (SOL) tokens, worth roughly $22 million, to HitBTC's hot wallet, showing how hackers use complex routes to launder stolen funds. The tokens originated from a Binance theft and were moved using automated peeling-chain scripts. Salus also linked $3.68 million from a $1.4 billion Bybit hack to HitBTC, which has been uncooperative with investigations. This highlights HitBTC's key role in laundering stolen crypto through nested services and smaller exchanges.

Solana (SOL) trades at Rp1.696.629 on Pluang as of Nov 04, 2026 05:32 WIB, showing a 1.89% gain in the last day. The market cap stands at Rp1.002,72 trillion with a 24-hour volume of Rp37,1 trillion. Pluang users currently favor buying SOL, with 61% buy orders and an average hold time of 72 days, indicating steady interest despite the recent theft news.
