Rigel Pharmaceuticals announced that final Phase 3 trial data for GAVRETO (pralsetinib) as a first-line treatment for RET fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) will be presented at ASCO 2026, showing improved progression-free survival and response rates over standard care. Additionally, data from Phase 1/2 trials of pralsetinib in RET-altered thyroid cancer and real-world evidence supporting REZLIDHIA (olutasidenib) for relapsed/refractory IDH1-mutated acute myeloid leukemia (AML) were presented. These findings highlight the clinical relevance of Rigel's oncology portfolio and suggest olutasidenib may be an effective post-venetoclax therapy for AML patients. The presentations at ASCO and EHA 2026 will further inform treatment strategies for these difficult-to-treat cancers.
