Duke Energy Florida offers $7.50 monthly credit for EV owners charging during off-peak hours.

Duke Energy Florida reminds EV owners in the state about its Off-Peak Charging Credit program, which rewards customers for charging their electric vehicles during low-demand hours. Since 2022, the program has paid out $1.5 million in bill credits to participants. Eligible customers using Level 2 chargers can earn a $7.50 credit each month by charging between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekdays, and anytime on weekends and holidays. This initiative helps customers save money while supporting grid efficiency and is open to all residential customers with up to two EVs per account.

Duke Energy's initiative to encourage EV charging during off-peak hours highlights the company's role in the utilities sector. On Pluang, Duke Energy Corp (DUK) shares are priced at USD 116.93, down 0.65% as of Oct 13, 2026, 21:41 WIB.
