Pirate Gold Corp's drilling at Crippleback Lake within the Treasure Island project has confirmed a large advanced argillic alteration system linked to high sulphidation epithermal and copper porphyry mineral systems. The alteration zone spans approximately 1,700 m by 700 m and extends beyond 400 m deep, with ongoing drilling expanding the footprint and revealing strong sulphide mineralization. This geological evidence suggests potential for significant gold and copper deposits, with further assays pending and additional drilling planned to explore deeper and core areas. The project lies in a promising new gold district along the Valentine Lake Fault Zone in Newfoundland, Canada.
