Ondo Finance has launched the Ondo Network, an execution layer designed for fast, private, and non-custodial trading, replacing its previously planned Ondo Chain blockchain. The network separates trade execution from settlement, using secure hardware enclaves for private processing and decentralized attestors for code verification, enabling near-centralized exchange speeds with blockchain-based settlement. Ondo Perps, the first application on the network, offers 24/7 perpetual futures trading with tokenized real-world assets as collateral. Additionally, new FINRA permissions support Ondo's regulated infrastructure for tokenized securities in the U.S., although Ondo Perps and other products require separate compliance for U.S. availability.
