Sanofi halts development of Nurix's STAT6 degrader SAR448272, ending related milestone payments.

Sanofi has decided to discontinue the Phase 1 clinical trial and development of SAR448272, an oral STAT6 degrader developed in collaboration with Nurix Therapeutics. As a result, Nurix will no longer receive milestone payments or royalties related to this program but remains eligible for payments from other partnered programs. Despite this setback, Nurix maintains a strong financial position with $1.1 billion in cash and ongoing clinical programs, including a Phase 3 trial for a BTK degrader and Phase 1b studies for other cancer and autoimmune treatments. The company continues to advance its pipeline and collaborations with Roche, Gilead, and Pfizer.

As of Nov 04, 2026 04:11 WIB, Sanofi (SNY) shares are trading at USD 45.40, up 2.39% on Pluang, with a market cap of $107.77 billion. Meanwhile, Gilead Sciences (GILD), a collaborator mentioned in the news, is priced at USD 167.05, down 1.93% as of the same time. Sanofi's dividend yield stands at 5.31%, reflecting steady income potential for investors on the platform.
