Nova Pacific Metals reported results from a Mobile Metal Ion soil survey at its Lara Project on Vancouver Island, revealing multiple new anomalous zones including a major gold-copper-silver anomaly covering about 700 by 1,000 meters. This anomaly suggests a different type of mineralization than the known Coronation deposit, possibly a large-tonnage porphyry copper system. Another copper-cadmium-nickel-uranium anomaly was also found, extending at least 1,600 meters. The company plans follow-up prospecting and further soil surveys to better define these targets, supporting its strategy to expand the resource base beyond the current known deposits.
