Nike Q1 fiscal 2027 sales expected to drop 3.2%, hurt by China and EMEA weakness

Nike Inc. will report its first-quarter fiscal 2027 results on October 1, with analysts forecasting a 3.2% decline in revenue to $11.3 billion compared to last year. The sales drop is mainly due to weak performance in Greater China and the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions, offsetting modest growth in North America. Nike's shares have fallen significantly, down about 43% year-to-date and 49% over the past year, reflecting investor concerns about the company's turnaround efforts under CEO Elliott Hill. The biggest challenge remains in Greater China, where revenue is expected to fall 12.6% to $1.3 billion.

Nike's shares trade near their 52-week low at USD 35.96 on Pluang as of September 24, 2026, with a slight 0.25% decline in the past day. Despite the stock's significant year-to-date drop of about 43%, Pluang investors show strong buying interest, with 94% of order activity favoring buys. This trading behavior occurs ahead of Nike's Q1 2027 results, which are expected to reveal continued sales pressure, especially in Greater China.
