A security flaw in Limit Break's Payment Processor V2 exposed over 23,000 NFTs valued at $5.7 million, including Meebits and Otherdeeds. The issue stemmed from legacy approvals on Magic Eden's former EVM marketplace, which allowed unauthorized transfers until permissions were revoked. Magic Eden stopped using this processor in October 2024 and closed the marketplace in early 2026, but NFTs listed between February and October 2024 remained vulnerable. A whitehat team secured the exposed NFTs, though some related funds remain unrecovered. Users are advised to revoke old permissions to protect their assets.
