Bug in Magic Eden's old Ethereum marketplace drains NFTs and WETH; users must revoke approvals immediately.

A bug in Limit Break's Payment Processor, used by Magic Eden's former Ethereum marketplace, has allowed attackers to drain NFTs and Wrapped Ether (WETH) from users' wallets since September 24, 2026. Over 530 WETH and thousands of NFTs have been stolen across multiple networks including Ethereum and ApeChain. Users must revoke approvals for two specific contracts on Ethereum, ApeChain, Polygon, and Base to stop further losses, as cancelling listings or using hardware wallets does not protect against this exploit. The incident highlights risks of unlimited token approvals and the need for regular approval management even after marketplaces shut down.

The Magic Eden and Limit Break exploit involving WETH and NFTs provides context for cryptocurrency market activity.
