The issue delayed cross-chain messages on affected routes, which were preserved, and several OP Stack chains were impacted. The Reth client fixed the bug on November 3 with updated releases, and node operators are urged to upgrade. Some protocols paused deposits and routing as a precaution, causing additional delays.
