The market features specific loan-to-value ratios and is managed by Steakhouse Financial, ensuring risk and liquidity are separated from other Kamino markets. tGBP is a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the British pound, backed by cash equivalents from BCP Technologies, which is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority. This launch expands onchain credit markets for regulated assets, enabling UK institutions to use sterling stablecoins effectively on public blockchains. The market went live on September 23, 2026.
