Kaia users must migrate staked KAIA by Nov 17 for network upgrade to permissionless validators.

Kaia is requiring users who have staked KAIA through its Public Delegation system to manually migrate their tokens to new staking contracts ahead of a network upgrade to a permissionless validator system. Withdrawal requests open on November 17, with withdrawals and redeposits starting November 26 after a seven-day waiting period. This migration is necessary because the current staking positions will not transfer automatically due to a network hard fork. Eligible participants in the Contribution Rewards program who complete the migration on time will retain their staking balances and rewards without interruption. The upgrade introduces a validator system where operators meeting a minimum staking threshold and technical criteria can register without manual approval, aiming to improve network governance and validator performance.

Kaia's staking migration is the subject, with Pluang market data providing context. Of 50 major cryptocurrencies priced on Pluang, 5 rose and 44 fell today. XRP was priced at Rp21.748 with a 1-day change of -9.05%, EOS at Rp12.649 with +8.13%, and XLM at Rp2.796 with -8.00%, as of Nov 06, 2026 17:02 WIB.
