Jupiter Exchange has launched Offerbook in public beta, a peer-to-peer lending platform on Solana that allows users to borrow USDC against tokens, NFTs, and other onchain assets without liquidation risk or reliance on price oracles. Borrowers and lenders negotiate fixed-term loans with customizable loan-to-value ratios, interest rates, and durations. This platform targets illiquid assets often ignored by traditional DeFi lenders, expanding lending options on Solana. Jupiter acquired RainFi, a similar protocol, to build Offerbook, which complements its existing vault-based lending product, Jupiter Lend. The platform has been audited by three firms, signaling serious commitment, but adoption metrics are not yet available.
