Hyperliquid unveils efficient Layer-1 blockchain with strong token buybacks and growing traditional asset trading.

At TOKEN2049 Singapore, Hyperliquid CEO Jeff Yan presented the platform as a rebuilt financial infrastructure using a custom Layer-1 blockchain with an on-chain Central Limit Order Book for perpetual futures and spot trading. The platform directs 97-99% of net fees to buy back its native token HYPE, linking token value closely to trading volume. In 2025, Hyperliquid generated over $900 million in profit with a lean team of 11, and non-crypto trading now represents one-third of its volume, signaling diversification beyond digital assets. Investors should watch for continued growth in traditional asset trading and sustained fee generation to support the buyback model.

Hyperliquid's HYPE token shows strong market activity on Pluang with a market cap of Rp359,11 trillion and a 24-hour trading volume of Rp19,26 trillion as of Nov 07, 2026 04:24 WIB. The token price is Rp1.418.861, up 0.60% in the last day, with a majority of Pluang users buying (69%) and an average hold time of 38 days. This trading volume supports the platform's model of directing most fees to buy back HYPE, aligning with its focus on fundamentals and sustained fee generation.
