GT Resources announced initial findings from its 2026 exploration program at the CD Project in Yukon’s Dawson Range Gold Belt, confirming historic gold-copper anomalies and identifying a multi-intrusive porphyry system with potential skarn mineralization. The program included geological mapping, prospecting, soil sampling, and an airborne MobileMT survey to enhance 3D modeling of the Maloney Porphyry target. These results support plans for a 2,500-3,000 meter diamond drill campaign in 2027 to test the gold-rich copper porphyry and high-grade gold-silver vein targets. The CD Project shows geological similarities to the nearby Casino deposit, which hosts significant copper and gold resources, indicating strong potential for valuable mineral discoveries.
