Spot Bitcoin ETFs become largest BTC holders, surpassing Satoshi with $107B in assets.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs, launched in January 2024, have become the largest holders of Bitcoin by October 2026, collectively holding about 1.293 million BTC worth $107 billion, surpassing even Bitcoin's creator Satoshi Nakamoto. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF alone holds over 806,000 BTC, making it the biggest single BTC holder among ETFs. While these ETFs have gained nearly 89% since inception, Bitcoin itself has outperformed slightly, rising about 93% in the same period. This milestone highlights the growing institutional adoption and investment in Bitcoin through regulated financial products.

As of Oct 08, 2026 18:42 WIB, BlackRock Inc (BLK), the issuer of the largest Bitcoin ETF holding over 806,000 BTC, trades at USD 1,055.03 on Pluang with a 1-day decline of 1.36%. The ETF's strong institutional presence is reflected in BlackRock's market cap of $165.65 billion and a dividend yield of 2.14%. This highlights the significant scale of Bitcoin investment through ETFs amid evolving market dynamics.
