Edgewise Therapeutics has begun dosing the first patient in its Phase 2 EQUINOX-HFpEF trial, testing EDG-15400, an oral drug aimed at improving cardiac relaxation in adults with symptomatic heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). This trial will evaluate the drug's safety, tolerability, and effects in about 90 patients over 12 weeks. HFpEF is a challenging heart failure type with limited treatment options, and EDG-15400 targets the underlying diastolic dysfunction. Results and trial design will be presented at the HFSA 2026 meeting in October.
