Polygon proposes unified 11-signer Security Council for Ethereum and Polygon governance.

Polygon community draft PIP-93 suggests consolidating multiple multisig councils into a single 11-signer Security Council to oversee Ethereum and Polygon governance. This council would include representatives from 10 organizations, with Polygon Labs holding two seats. The proposal aims to enhance security by keeping individual signer identities private and reducing risks like social engineering. Routine upgrades could be managed with fewer approvals and a time lock, while the Security Council retains veto and emergency powers. PIP-93 is currently a draft and not yet finalized.

Polygon's MATIC token trades at Rp5.877 on Pluang, showing a modest 0.85% gain as of Nov 07, 2026 04:22 WIB. The platform records a market cap of Rp59,96 trillion and a 24-hour trading volume of Rp3,76 trillion. This price movement occurs alongside governance discussions like the draft PIP-93 proposal aiming to enhance security for Ethereum and Polygon networks.
