$124M in stolen Binance Bitcoin moved to new addresses, XRP mostly still held after conversion attempts

About 1,650 Bitcoin worth roughly $124 million, linked to the Binance theft, were moved to new Bitcoin addresses by early Nov. 6, nearly doubling the amount moved a day earlier. Most of the increase came from XRP tokens converted through THORChain into Bitcoin. Of the 233 million XRP transferred to new addresses on Nov. 2, about 42 million XRP (around $50 million) had moved out, while 192 million XRP (about $226 million) remained. A small amount of Ether was also converted into Bitcoin. The ongoing conversions show that about 82% of the original XRP transfer is still held, indicating gradual movement of stolen funds.

The Binance theft-linked funds now total about 1,650 Bitcoin, worth roughly $124 million, with ongoing conversions from XRP and Ether into Bitcoin.
