Cathie Wood's ARK Invest sells $12.8M in Alphabet after its worst trading day since 2004 IPO.

ARK Invest, led by Cathie Wood, sold $12.8 million worth of Alphabet shares shortly after the stock experienced its worst trading day since its 2004 IPO, losing nearly half a trillion dollars in market value. The selloff followed Alphabet's Q3 earnings miss, including weaker-than-expected search revenue and a negative free cash flow due to heavy infrastructure spending. Despite the cuts, Alphabet's AI investments and capital spending plans remain significant, with future earnings and AI monetization closely watched. ARK also trimmed positions in Eli Lilly and Amazon while buying shares in Nurix Therapeutics.

Alphabet shares are down 2.24% at USD 282.45 on Pluang as of Nov 06, 2026 08:31 WIB, with a market cap of $3.54 trillion. Eli Lilly and Amazon also show declines of 3.53% and 3.03% respectively, reflecting broader selling pressure. Pluang order activity for Alphabet leans slightly towards selling at 53%.
