
Digital Asset Holdings, the company behind the Canton Network blockchain used by major financial institutions, is seeking to raise about $300 million at a $2 billion valuation. The funding round, expected to close in the coming weeks, includes participation from a16z crypto and is advised by investment bank FT Partners. Canton Network recently facilitated the first cross-border intraday repo using tokenized U.K. government bonds, highlighting its growing role in financial asset tokenization. This new capital will support further development and adoption of its blockchain infrastructure among global financial firms.
