Bitcoin is 39% below its peak while meme coins drop up to 99%, far worse than the S&P 500's 3% dip.

Bitcoin is currently 39% below its all-time high, with Ethereum down 55%, and meme coins like Dogecoin and TrumpCoin falling 90% to 99% from their peaks. In contrast, the S&P 500 is only about 3% below its record high, showing much smaller losses. This highlights the greater volatility and risk in cryptocurrencies compared to major US stock indexes. Recovery for crypto assets requires much larger gains due to their deeper drawdowns, making them more speculative investments.

As of Nov 02, 2026 12:21 WIB, Bitcoin trades at Rp1.421.179.895 on Pluang, showing a modest 0.66% gain in the last day despite being 39% below its peak. Ethereum, also recovering slightly with a 0.85% increase, is priced at Rp41.466.001. In contrast, meme coins like Dogecoin and TrumpCoin show very different investor interest; Dogecoin has a strong buy activity at 88% and trades at Rp1.374, while TrumpCoin, priced at Rp30.333, sees 76% sell orders, reflecting varied sentiment across crypto assets amid their volatile history.
