BBG Advanced Therapies, part of nonprofit BioBridge Global, has partnered with Kite, a Gilead company, to deploy a Mobile Leukapheresis Center across Texas. This mobile unit collects T-cells from patients locally, reducing travel and logistical challenges for accessing Kite's CAR T-cell therapies, which are personalized cancer treatments. The initiative aims to increase treatment access for eligible patients by bringing the initial cell collection closer to home, serving as a model for expanding advanced therapy infrastructure. This collaboration supports broader adoption of cell therapies by improving convenience and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the treatment process.
