Humanity Protocol has initiated the exchange execution phase of its new H token airdrop following a major exploit in June that compromised old tokens. Leading exchanges including Binance Alpha, MEXC, Bitget, KuCoin, Bybit, and Gate are supporting a 1:1 swap of old H tokens to the new ERC-20 H token for eligible holders based on a snapshot taken before the attack. This move replaces the old tokens with a newly audited contract to secure the network and restore user balances. Each exchange has specific rules for deposits, withdrawals, and trading pauses during the swap, aiming to simplify recovery for users affected by the $36 million theft linked to compromised keys and bridge infrastructure.
