FDA grants Breakthrough Therapy Designations to AbbVie's Temab-A for colorectal and lung cancers

AbbVie announced that the FDA has granted Breakthrough Therapy Designations (BTDs) for its investigational drug Temab-A (telisotuzumab adizutecan) in treating colorectal cancer (CRC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Temab-A, a next-generation antibody-drug conjugate targeting the c-Met protein, showed promising results in early studies, addressing treatment-resistant cancers. These designations aim to expedite Temab-A's development and review, highlighting its potential as a new therapy for difficult-to-treat solid tumors. AbbVie is continuing clinical trials to evaluate Temab-A both as a monotherapy and in combination with other treatments.

AbbVie shares are trading at USD 268.18 on Pluang as of Oct 07, 2026 19:44 WIB, up 0.52% in the last day. The stock shows strong buying interest with 81% of orders to buy. AbbVie’s market cap stands at $471.27 billion, reflecting its significant presence in the health sector.
