Do fees differ by stock order type on Pluang?

No. Every Indonesian stock order on Pluang is charged the same all-in rate regardless of order type or platform: 0.15% on a buy and 0.25% on a sell, inclusive of taxes and third-party fees. A Market order placed on the web trading platform costs exactly the same as a Limit order placed in the app, and a Session order costs the same as a Day order. There is no web surcharge and no premium for immediate execution. The only reason buy and sell rates differ is the 0.10% final income tax (PPh Final) that applies to sell transactions by regulation. Fees are also only ever charged on orders that actually match — an order that expires, is cancelled, or is withdrawn unfilled costs you nothing, no matter how long it stayed open.

Order-type scenarios, all charged identically:

  • A Market order on web that fills instantly → standard rate on the matched value.
  • A Limit order in the app that fills an hour later → standard rate on the matched value; the waiting costs nothing.
  • A Session order that fills in the final minute of the session → standard rate on the matched value.
  • A Market order that fills only partially → standard rate on the matched lots only; the withdrawn portion is free.

What fees are calculated on. Always the real transaction value, never the estimate. On a Market order, the estimate shown at review includes a fee component so the figure is complete, but the amount finally charged is worked out from what you actually traded.

One separate charge to know about, unrelated to order type. An e-Materai of Rp10,000 applies when your total daily transaction value exceeds Rp10,000,000. This is a regulatory stamp duty tied to daily value, not to which order type you used or which platform you used.

If the fee tier changes while an order is open. The order stays open, and the new fee applies if it later matches.

Related questions:

Q: Is there an extra charge for using a Market order on Pluang?
No. Market orders carry the same 0.15% buy and 0.25% sell all-in rate as every other order type, with no premium for immediate execution. What can cost you more is the execution price rather than the fee — a Market order takes whatever the market offers, so on a thinly traded stock you may be filled at a worse price than expected. That is a market outcome, not a Pluang charge.

Q: Do fees differ between the Pluang app and the web trading platform?
No. The all-in rate is identical on both — 0.15% on a buy and 0.25% on a sell. Using the web platform costs nothing extra, and there is no separate subscription or access fee for it. The practical difference is which order types you can place: Limit and Market work on both, while Session validity, GTC and Stop Loss / Take Profit are available in the app only.

Q: Am I charged anything while an order sits open waiting to fill?
No. There is no holding fee and no daily charge for an order waiting in the exchange queue. Pluang's fees apply only when a transaction actually completes, so a Limit order that stays open all day and never matches costs you exactly nothing. Any funds held against a buy order return to your RDN when the order expires.

Q: Am I charged anything if my order doesn't fill?
No. Pluang charges only on completed transactions, so an order that expires when its validity ends, gets cancelled by you, is withdrawn as an unfilled Market-order remainder, or is auto-rejected by the exchange costs nothing. Any funds held against a buy order return to your RDN when the order ends.
