FAQ article

Do I need funds available to exercise my rights or warrants on Pluang?

Yes — exercising rights or warrants on Pluang is treated exactly like a regular stock purchase, so the full exercise cost must already be sitting in your RDN before you submit. That cost is exercise price × lots × 100 shares per lot — e.g. 10 lots at Rp500 requires Rp500,000 in your RDN. If your balance is too low, the exercise is rejected outright rather than partially filled. Funds must come from your RDN specifically, not your IDR Cash Wallet or any other balance.

How the funds check works:

  • The exercise cost is calculated as: exercise price × lots exercised × 100 shares per lot
  • Example: exercising 10 lots at an exercise price of Rp500 requires 10 × Rp500 × 100 = Rp500,000 available in your RDN before you tap submit
  • This amount is drawn from your RDN (Rekening Dana Nasabah) balance — the same account used for regular Indonesian stock purchases — not from your IDR Cash Wallet or any other Pluang balance
  • The check happens at submission: if your RDN balance is below the required amount, the exercise does not go through at all — there is no partial fill

If your RDN balance is insufficient:

  1. The exercise request is rejected
  2. Top up your RDN via Home → Wallet → RDN Account → Top Up
  3. Resubmit the exercise while the exercise period and correct session are still open — a rejected attempt does not use up your Available Lot or your chance to exercise later in the window

Related questions:

Q: Does the app tell me how much I need before I submit?
Yes — the exercise screen shows the Exercise Price and lets you adjust Lots Exercised, so you can calculate the required RDN amount before confirming.

Q: Can I exercise using my IDR Cash Wallet instead of my RDN?
No. Exercise draws from your RDN specifically; your IDR Cash Wallet balance isn't touched or checked at all.

Q: Is my RDN balance locked once I submit an exercise request?
Yes, once accepted for processing on the exercise day, the cost is reserved from your RDN until the exercise is confirmed or rejected.

Q: What if I only have enough RDN funds for part of my Available Lot?
Reduce the Lots Exercised amount to match what your balance can cover — Pluang supports partial exercise for exactly this scenario.
