Can I move my Indonesian shares to or from Pluang?

Yes. You can move Indonesian shares you hold at another broker into Pluang, and shares you hold at Pluang can be moved to another broker. A transfer into Pluang is started at your current broker, not in the Pluang app: you ask that broker for its stock transfer-out form, fill in the stock codes, number of lots and your details, and name PT Pluang Maju Sekuritas as the receiving broker. The transfer runs outside the app through KSEI and takes several business days, and the shares can't be traded until it's complete. Pluang charges no fee for incoming transfers, although your current broker may charge its own transfer-out fee. To move shares out of Pluang to another broker, contact Pluang Care, and the team will explain the current process. Either way, your shares stay registered in your own name at KSEI.

Moving shares into Pluang

Ask your current broker for its stock transfer-out form. Fill in the stock codes, number of lots and your personal details, and name PT Pluang Maju Sekuritas as the receiving broker. If the form asks for Pluang's broker code or your securities account details at Pluang, confirm them with Pluang Care before you submit. Your broker tells you how to submit the form, and after you submit it, let Pluang Care know so the team can follow up. When the transfer is complete, the shares appear in your Pluang portfolio.

Moving shares out of Pluang

Contact Pluang Care through in-app live chat, email tanya@pluang.com, or call (021) 8063 0065 (Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 WIB). Tell the team which stocks and how many lots you want to move, and which broker you're moving them to. The team will explain the current process, what you need to provide, and any fees that apply.

Related questions:

Q: Does Pluang charge a fee to move shares in?
No. Pluang charges Rp0 for incoming stock transfers. Your current broker may charge its own fee for transferring shares out, and that fee is set by the broker, not by Pluang, so check it before you submit the form. If you're moving shares out of Pluang instead, ask Pluang Care about any fees before you start, so you know the full cost of the transfer.

Q: Can I trade shares while they're being transferred?
No. Shares that are being transferred can't be traded until the transfer is complete. Once it finishes, they appear in your Pluang portfolio and you can buy or sell them as usual during IDX trading hours. A transfer takes several business days, so plan around it if you might want to sell soon, because you can't sell those shares while they're moving.

Q: Which shares can I move into Pluang?
Indonesian stocks listed on IDX that are available on Pluang can be transferred in. Before you ask your broker for the form, search for each stock in the Pluang app to check that it's available. A stock that isn't available on Pluang can't be traded here, so keep it at your current broker. For rights, warrants or ETFs, check with Pluang Care before you start a transfer.

Q: Do I need to finish Indonesian Asset Verification first?
Yes. Your Indonesian shares are held at KSEI in a securities sub-account in your name, which is created when your Indonesian Asset Verification is approved. Complete that verification before you ask your current broker to transfer your shares, so there's an account at Pluang to receive them. If you haven't done it yet, go to Account → Identity Verification → Indonesian Asset Verification in the app.
