How Many Shares Will I Get in an Indonesian Stock e-IPO on Pluang, and When Do They Show Up?
In an Indonesian stock e-IPO on Pluang, you may get all the lots you ordered, fewer, or none, depending on how much demand there is for the shares on offer. Indonesian stock trading on Pluang is facilitated by PT Pluang Maju Sekuritas, a Securities Company licensed and supervised by OJK (KEP-196/PM/1992), together with PT Sarana Santosa Sejati, a Level II Securities Brokerage Marketing Partner licensed and supervised by OJK (4/PM.02/STTD/MPPPE/2024). Allotment follows the rules of the IDX e-IPO system, not a decision by Pluang. When an IPO is oversubscribed, meaning investors order more shares than are available, orders are scaled back, so getting fewer lots is common. The result appears on the IPO's page after the Allotment stage, and the amount for any lots you didn't get goes back to your RDN. Your allotted shares are credited at Distribution and appear in your Indonesian Stocks portfolio by Listing day, when the stock starts trading on IDX.
Allotment results
| Result | What it means | What happens in your RDN |
|---|---|---|
| Allotted | You got all the lots you ordered | The cost of your shares is debited at Distribution |
| Allotted with scale back | You got fewer lots than you ordered | The amount for the lots you didn't get goes back after Allotment; the rest is debited at Distribution |
| Not allotted | You didn't get any shares | The full held amount goes back after Allotment |
Good to know
- Allotment isn't guaranteed. Having enough balance and a confirmed order doesn't guarantee shares. Popular IPOs are often heavily oversubscribed.
- Selling from Listing day: once the stock lists, you can sell or hold it like any other Indonesian stock during IDX trading hours, and the regular transaction fees apply when you sell.
- Bonus warrants: if an IPO comes with bonus warrants, the order screen shows an estimate, and the warrants follow the company's terms in the prospectus.
- Price risk: a new stock's price can rise or fall sharply after listing, and the IPO price is no guide to where it will trade.

Related questions
Q: Why did I get fewer lots than I ordered?
Because the IPO was oversubscribed: investors across all brokers ordered more shares than the company offered, so the IDX e-IPO system scaled orders back. This is common for popular IPOs and doesn't mean anything went wrong with your order. The amount for the lots you didn't get goes back to your RDN after Allotment.
Q: When will my e-IPO shares appear in my portfolio?
Allotted shares are credited at the Distribution stage and appear in your Indonesian Stocks portfolio by Listing day, when the stock starts trading on IDX. The dates of both stages are shown on the IPO's page. If your shares still aren't in your portfolio on Listing day, contact Pluang Care through live chat in the app or email tanya@pluang.com.
Q: Can I sell my e-IPO shares on the first day?
Yes. From Listing day, your allotted shares are tradable like any other Indonesian stock, during IDX trading hours. On a stock's first trading days the price can move sharply in either direction, and IDX's daily price limits apply as usual, so check the latest price before you place a sell order.
Q: Can I buy more shares if I wasn't allotted enough?
Yes, after the stock lists. From Listing day you can buy it in the Pluang app at the market price, the same way you buy any other Indonesian stock, with the regular transaction fees. The market price may be higher or lower than the IPO price.
