FAQ article

Does Pluang charge a fee to exercise rights or warrants?

No, Pluang does not charge any fee for exercising either rights or warrants. The only amount you pay is the exercise price × number of lots — e.g. 10 lots at Rp500 × 100 shares per lot = Rp500,000 — and that goes directly to the issuing company, not Pluang. There is no separate exercise fee, brokerage commission, or service charge, because exercise is a corporate-action redemption, not a market trade. Buying or selling the -R/-W ticker on the open market, however, is a regular IDSS trade and standard fees apply.

What you pay when exercising on Pluang:

  • Exercise cost: exercise price × number of lots × 100 shares per lot. This is paid to the issuing company, not to Pluang. Example: 10 lots × Rp500 exercise price × 100 shares = Rp500,000.
  • Pluang exercise fee: Rp0 — no fee charged by Pluang to process the redemption
  • Brokerage on exercise: Rp0 — exercise is not treated as a market trade
  • RDN balance check: the exercise cost must be available in your RDN before submission

Note: this fee structure applies to the exercise action only. Buying or selling rights/warrants in the secondary market is treated as a regular IDSS stock trade and standard IDSS transaction fees apply (broker commission, regulatory levies, and any applicable tax). Refer to the standard Indonesian Stocks fee schedule for those amounts.

Related questions:

Q: Are there any taxes on exercising rights or warrants?
Exercise itself isn't separately taxed — consult a tax advisor for personal treatment. Standard tax treatment for the underlying shares applies once you own them.

Q: Why is there no Pluang fee for exercise?
Exercise is processed as a corporate-action redemption, not a market trade. The cost flows from your RDN to the issuing company; Pluang takes no cut.

Q: Do brokerage fees apply when I sell my rights or warrants in the market?
Yes. Selling -R or -W tickers in the secondary market is a regular IDSS trade, so standard brokerage and regulatory fees apply in full.

Q: What if my RDN doesn't have enough for the exercise cost?
The exercise is rejected outright. Top up your RDN to cover the full cost, then resubmit while the exercise period is open.

Q: I was charged a fee for exercising — is that normal?
No. Exercise carries no fees for either rights or warrants — contact Pluang Care to report it immediately.
