FAQ article

How long does an RDN allocation from IDR Cash or IDR Crypto Funding take on Pluang?

Allocating money from your IDR Cash or IDR Crypto Funding balance to your RDN in the Pluang app usually takes 10–30 minutes to show in your RDN balance after you confirm it. Indonesian stock trading on Pluang is facilitated by PT Pluang Maju Sekuritas, a Securities Company licensed and supervised by OJK (KEP-196/PM/1992), together with PT Sarana Santosa Sejati, a Level II Securities Brokerage Marketing Partner licensed and supervised by OJK (4/PM.02/STTD/MPPPE/2024). This timing covers allocations from your Pluang balance only; topping up your RDN from a bank account is a separate route and can take up to 1×24 hours. Allocations made after trading hours can take longer, and on trading days the bank system is unavailable for a while, usually from 16:30 to 20:00 WIB, so allocations made then are processed once it is back. Allocation currently works into a Bank Jago RDN, and the money can be used to buy Indonesian stocks as soon as it shows.

Good to know

  • After you confirm: the app shows Request submitted with the amount being allocated. Tap Done; the allocation shows as Pending in your transaction history until it completes.
  • One at a time: only one allocation can be in process at a time, so wait for it to finish before you make the next one.
  • If it fails: the amount goes straight back to the balance you allocated from.
  • Allocating from IDR Crypto Funding: the money passes through IDR Cash first, so your transaction history may show two entries for one allocation.
  • Free: the confirmation screen shows a Free fee and Rp0 tax, so the full amount reaches your RDN.
  • Compared with a bank top-up: topping up your RDN from your bank account can take up to 1×24 hours, depending on your bank.

Related questions

Q: Why does an allocation after trading hours take longer?
Outside trading hours, an allocation can take longer than the usual 10–30 minutes to show in your RDN. On trading days the bank system is also unavailable for a while, usually from 16:30 to 20:00 WIB, and anything allocated in that window waits until it is available again. Nothing is lost while it waits: the allocation stays in your transaction history, and the money shows in your RDN once it has been processed.

Q: Can I buy Indonesian stocks with allocated money straight away?
Yes, as soon as it shows in your RDN balance. Indonesian stocks are paid for in full from your RDN cash, so an allocation that is still processing doesn't count toward your buying power yet. If you want to buy at a particular time, such as when the market opens, allocate early enough to allow for the usual 10–30 minutes, or longer if you allocate after trading hours.

Q: What should I do if my allocation still hasn't arrived?
First check the allocation in your transaction history and note when you made it. If it was after trading hours or while the bank system was unavailable, it is processed once the bank is available again, so give it more time. If it's still pending after that, contact Pluang Care through live chat in the app, email tanya@pluang.com or the call center at (021) 8063 0065 (Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 WIB), with the allocation's date and amount.
