Does Pluang offer margin trading for Indonesian stocks?
Not at the moment. Margin trading for Indonesian stocks isn't available in the Pluang app today, so every purchase is paid in full from the cash in your RDN and you can buy only up to the balance you have available. Indonesian stocks on Pluang are brokered through PT Pluang Maju Sekuritas and PT Sarana Santosa Sejati, both licensed and supervised by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), and every share you buy is recorded in your own name at KSEI. If the trading options available to you change, you'll see it in the Pluang app.

Q: What is margin trading?
Margin trading means buying shares partly with money borrowed from your broker, with your shares and cash held as collateral. It lets you hold a bigger position than your own cash would allow, so gains and losses are both larger, and you pay interest on the borrowed amount. If the value of your collateral falls too far, the broker can ask you to add funds or sell your shares.
Q: Can I buy Indonesian stocks for more than my RDN balance on Pluang?
No. An order needs enough cash in your RDN to cover its full value plus fees. To buy more, top up your RDN first with a bank transfer to your RDN account number. There's no minimum top-up amount, and the steps are in the article "What payment methods are available to top up my RDN on Pluang?".
Q: Can I short sell Indonesian stocks on Pluang?
No. On Pluang you can sell only Indonesian shares you already hold in your account.
