What is e-IPO for Indonesian stocks on Pluang?

e-IPO is a feature that will allow you to participate in Indonesian stock IPOs directly through the Pluang app. Please note: e-IPO is not yet available on Pluang — we are currently awaiting regulatory approval before we can launch this feature. Once live, you will be able to order shares in companies going public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX/BEI) before they are listed for regular trading.

The 4 stages of an e-IPO:

  1. Book Building — The IPO is open for orders. The share price is not yet final and is shown as a range. You submit your desired price and number of lots. Your funds are placed "On Hold" in your RDN wallet until distribution or cancellation. You can only place 1 order per IPO, but you may amend (lot only) or cancel up until the end of the Public Offering period.
  2. Public Offering (Penawaran Umum) — The company sets the final IPO price.
    • Price matches your order: Confirm your order by reading and accepting the prospectus before the period closes.
    • Price doesn't match: Your original order is dropped, but you can place a new order at the final price. You can also join for the first time here even if you skipped Book Building.
    • Orders placed during Public Offering cannot be cancelled or amended.
  3. Allotment (Penjatahan Efek) — Shares are allocated. If oversubscribed, you may receive fewer lots than ordered — this is normal. Excess funds are returned to your RDN.
  4. Distribution + Listing — Shares appear in your Pluang portfolio and regular trading begins. Distribution is D+1 after allotment; Listing is D+1 after distribution (non-holidays only).

Requirements:

  • Completed Indonesian Stocks (IDSS) KYC on Pluang
  • Active RDN (opened automatically during IDSS KYC)
  • Pluang handles your e-IPO system registration automatically on your first purchase

Related questions:

Q: Can I cancel my e-IPO order?
Yes — during Book Building and up to the end of the Public Offering period. Once Public Offering closes, cancellation is no longer possible.

Q: Can I change my order after submitting?
You can amend the number of lots during Book Building up to the end of Public Offering. You cannot change your price or the yes/no compliance questions during an amendment.

Q: What happens to my funds while pending?
Funds are placed "On Hold" in your RDN from order submission until distribution or cancellation. If you receive fewer lots due to oversubscription, the excess is returned.

Q: How many orders can I place for one IPO?
Only 1 order per IPO. You may amend the lot quantity but cannot place multiple separate orders.

Q: Will I be notified about my order status?
Yes — Pluang sends email notifications when the Public Offering price is set and after allotment results are confirmed.
