Why Can’t I Pay My Gold Instalment Early on Pluang?
If you can’t pay your gold instalment early, the most common cause is that the bill is not open yet: only the current month's instalment can be paid early, from the 1st of the month at 07:00 WIB, and paying a future month shows “Cannot pay in advance”. The other common cause is “Insufficient balance”: top up your Rupiah balance, then tap Pay Now again.
| Symptom / Condition | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| “Cannot pay in advance” when paying a later month | Only the bill due in the current month can be paid early | Wait until that month begins; its payment opens from the 1st at 07:00 WIB |
| Trying to pay on the 1st before 07:00 WIB | The early-payment window opens on the 1st at 07:00 WIB | Try again after 07:00 WIB on the 1st |
| “Insufficient balance” | Your Rupiah balance is lower than the instalment amount | Top up your Rupiah balance, then go back to View Schedule → Pay Now |
| No option to pay the whole remaining amount | Paying off the full instalment early is not available | Keep paying month by month, or pay the current month early; the tenor stays as chosen |
| Not sure where to pay | Early payment sits in the payment schedule | Gold asset page → gold balance (vault) icon → Installment → View Schedule → Pay Now |

Related questions:
Q: When can I pay this month’s gold instalment early?
From the 1st of the month at 07:00 WIB, any time before the auto-debit on the 25th, through View Schedule and Pay Now.
Q: Can I pay off my whole gold instalment at once?
No. Early payoff of the full instalment is not available. You can only pay the current month's bill early; the tenor stays as you chose it.
Q: What happens if I can’t pay on the 25th either?
That month stays unpaid, with no late fee. Top up your Rupiah balance as soon as possible so the next debit can go through: 2 consecutive unpaid instalments cancel the plan.
