How Often Is Aura AI Updated, and Where Does Its Data Come From?
Aura AI is not real time. Each asset's analysis is generated in advance, stored, and refreshed periodically throughout the day, and the Aura AI tab shows the most recent version whenever you open it. That is why an analysis can lag behind a sudden price move or a headline that has just broken. The analysis is built from market data and third-party sources: the asset's recent price movement, technical signals from its chart, and news about the asset from the same news feed that powers the asset's News tab. If a refresh does not complete, Aura AI keeps showing the last analysis it produced rather than leaving the tab blank, so an analysis can occasionally be older than usual. For US Stocks, analyses are still produced outside US market hours, using the latest market data available at the time. For the current price, always use the live price shown on the asset page, which updates continuously and separately from Aura AI.

Q: Is there a way to generate a fresh Aura AI analysis myself?
No. Aura AI does not generate a new analysis on demand; it shows the latest analysis produced for the asset. Reopening the asset page later will show a newer version once it has been refreshed. In the meantime, the live price, chart and News tab on the asset page always show current information, so use those for anything that has changed in the last few minutes.
Q: Does Aura AI use my portfolio or account data?
No. The analysis on an asset page is generated for the asset, not for you, and it does not read your holdings, balances or transaction history. Everyone who opens the same asset at the same time sees the same analysis. This also means Aura AI does not take your personal goals or risk tolerance into account when it describes an asset's outlook.
Q: Why does Aura AI sometimes mention news I cannot find?
Aura AI draws on news tagged to the asset, so the story behind a Key Driver should normally appear in the asset's News tab. If you cannot find it, the headline may have been from earlier and scrolled further down the list, or your News tab filter may be set to a different coverage. Try selecting the asset itself in the coverage filter to see its specific headlines.
Q: Why is the analysis different in the morning and the evening?
Because it has been refreshed in between. Each refresh reviews the latest price movement, technical signals and news, so the Summary Insight, Key Drivers and even the Bullish, Neutral or Bearish outlook can change during the day as new information arrives. This is expected behaviour, and a reason to reread the analysis before any decision rather than relying on one you saw earlier.
