FAQ article

Is Aura AI Personalised to My Portfolio?

No. The Aura AI analysis you see on an asset page is generated for the asset, not for you. Everyone who opens the same Crypto or US Stocks asset between refreshes sees the same Summary Insight, Key Drivers and Ask Aura AI answers. The analysis does not read your holdings, your balance, your transaction history or any other account data, and it does not take into account your investment goals, time horizon or risk tolerance. That matters in two ways. It means using Aura AI does not share anything about your account with the analysis. It also means that when Aura AI describes an asset's outlook as Bullish, Neutral or Bearish, it is not saying anything about whether that asset suits your portfolio, or whether you should buy more, hold or sell what you already own. Those judgements depend on your own situation, so treat Aura AI as general market context and make portfolio decisions based on your own plan and research.

  • Same for everyone: One analysis per asset, shared by every user who opens it, refreshed periodically.
  • No account data: The analysis does not use your holdings, balances or transaction history.
  • No personal profile: It does not consider your goals, time horizon, income or risk tolerance.
  • What this means for you: The outlook describes the asset, not what you should do with your own position.

Related questions:

Q: If I already own an asset, does Aura AI tell me whether to hold or sell it?
No. Aura AI's analysis is the same whether or not you own the asset, and it does not look at your position, your average buy price or your profit and loss. It describes what has been moving the asset and which way its outlook leans, but whether to hold, add or sell depends on your own goals and circumstances. Check your position in your portfolio and decide based on your own plan.

Q: Does Aura AI see my portfolio or balance?
No. The Aura AI analysis on an asset page is produced for the asset from market data and third-party sources, and it does not access your holdings, balance or transaction history. Opening the Aura AI tab does not change anything in your account. Your Pluang account data is protected in the same way whether or not you use Aura AI.

Q: Why doesn't Aura AI consider my risk profile?
Because it is designed as general market information that is the same for every user, not as personalised advice. A personalised view would need to know your goals, time horizon and risk tolerance, which Aura AI does not use. This is also why Aura AI is not investment advice: it can explain an asset, but it cannot tell you whether that asset fits your situation.

Q: Is Aura AI the same as Pluang Agentic Trading?
No. Aura AI is built into the Pluang app and shows the same pre-generated analysis of an asset to every user, without accessing your account. Pluang Agentic Trading is a separate feature that lets an external AI agent you choose, such as Claude, connect to your Pluang account with your permission, read your portfolio and place orders you confirm.
