What is a Limit Order on Crypto Futures?

Limit Order Long allows you to set a limit price, which is the maximum price you are willing to pay to buy a contract on Crypto Futures. This order will be executed at the limit price or lower.

• If you open a Limit Order Long (Buy), the order will be executed at the limit price or lower, as long as there are sellers willing to sell at that price.
• If you open a Limit Order Short (Sell), the order will be executed at the limit price or higher, as long as there are buyers willing to buy at that price.

So, it's not always executed at the exact limit price, Sobat Cuan! The final result depends on whether you want to buy or sell, as well as the liquidity conditions in the order book.

Example:

You want to open a Long position using a Limit Order at 100 BTC, while the current market price is ₮105,000, but you don’t want your order to be executed at that price, so you set a limit price of ₮90,000. Your order will only be executed if the BTC price drops to ₮90,000 or lower.

Orders using Limit Orders will be valid for up to 90 days, orders will be cancelled after 90 days or you cancel them yourself.

Meanwhile, Limit Order Short allows you to specify a limit price, the minimum price you are willing to accept to sell a contract on Crypto Futures. This order will be executed at the limit price or lower.

Example:

You want to open a Short position using a Limit Order at 100 BTC, while the current market price is ₮90,000, but you don’t want your order to be executed at that price, so you set a limit price of ₮100,000. Your order will only be executed if the BTC price rises to ₮100,000 or higher.
