The Company was established in connection with the acquisition of AMNT, formerly known as PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (PTNNT). PTNNT runs its operations under the ownership of a consortium of investors, including Nusa Tenggara Partnership B.V. (NTPBV) which is indirectly owned by Newmont Corporation (Newmont) and Sumitomo Corporation (Sumitomo), PT Multi Daerah Bersaing (PTMDB), PT Indonesia Masbaga Investama (PTIMI), and PT Pukuafu Indah (PTPI). On November 2, 2016, the Company acquired 82.2% shares of PTNNT from NTPBV, PTMDB, and PTIMI, and changed PTNNTs name to AMNT (Acquisition). In December 2020, the Company acquired the remaining outstanding shares of AMNT from PTPI, where the Company is until the date of this Prospectus is issued, owns 99.99% of AMNTs outstanding shares. The remaining 0.01% outstanding shares of AMNT are owned by PT AP Investment (PTAPI), one of the Companys shareholders. Established in 1986, PTNNT began development and construction of the Batu Hijau mine in 1997 and has been producing commodities in the form of copper concentrate which also contains gold and silver as minerals followers since 2000.
