Bitwise launched its first tokenized fund, the $259 million Bitwise Crypto Carry Fund (USCC), featuring XRP alongside Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana as equal assets. The fund uses a market-neutral basis trade strategy, buying spot assets and shorting futures to generate yield from price differences rather than price appreciation, currently yielding about 4% annualized over 30 days. Tokenized on the FundOS platform, USCC shares are liquid and accepted by major DeFi protocols, allowing institutional investors to use fund shares as collateral. The fund is private, targeting qualified investors, and complements Bitwise's XRP ETF that attracts traditional Wall Street capital.
